APO Life Protection Arts was founded on May 7, 2011 by Tim Evans and Robert White in order to perpetuate the memory of their teacher, Dr. Ramiro U. Estalilla Jr. and to teach an effective system of self-defense featuring more than 37 years researching and integrating various technical applications of martial arts from America, the Philippines, and Okinawa.
